Itty Bitty Spring City Contest

ITTY BITTY SPRING CITY RULES
  • This year’s contest pictures were taken along 4th and 5th North from Main Street to 400 East on both sides of the street.  All pictures are available from the street so please do not enter private property.  Pictures can be identified by street address if known or at least include enough information of the structure to clearly identify it such as partial street address name of current or past owner, or other identifying information.
  • The contest runs from Sunday, July 20 at 5:00 pm through Wednesday, July 23 at 8:00 pm.  Entries need to be submitted to Cynthia DeGrey by 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 23 via email address at caallred@hotmail.com, text at 435-469-1328 or dropped off at her home at 89 West 200 South.  In case of a tie, the earliest received entry will be selected so please put a date and time on your answer sheet when you submit it.
  • There are a total of 15 pictures PLUS one bonus picture which will be worth 5 points, making 20 total points possible.  There might be more than one picture located at the same sight.
  • Cash prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.  The winners will be announced during the afternoon of July 24 about 1:30 pm at the city park.
This is a great family activity.  We encourage you all to take an enjoyable walk around Historic Spring City and see how many pictures you can identify.  The 4th North Street going East is closed to traffic so you will not be able to drive your cars along that road.  Sorry for that inconvenience – I wasn’t aware the road was going to be repaved this year.

Operating Information for Vendors

If you plan on setting up a vending booth in Spring City during the celebration you must first contact Spring City Office to get a Temporary Business & Sales Tax License to operate during the celebration time.  You must do this even if you have a business license in Spring City and you’re operating at a different location than the one you’re licensed for.  The cost for the temporary permit is $10 (or free if you have a regular Spring City business license).  This license requires you to charge the proper sales tax and remit it to the Utah State Tax Commission.  The information and an envelope will be provided for you. For more information please follow this link to the Utah State Tax Commission website
